The Wurtemburg-Perry Township Volunteer Fire Department is accepting applications for anyone interested in joining the department and becoming a volunteer firefighter.

The department averages 120 calls per year, which involves more than 1,300 volunteer hours plus more than 1,600 hours for training, and fund raising. The firefighters hold one monthly meeting and practice every Tuesday evening.
